As any GTG volunteer will tell you, it is the patients and their stories that you will remember forever. Join us for a two week (or more!) stay and help continue GTG's mission to provide free physical therapy services in Port-au-Prince.

What Qualifications Do I Need?

We are currently in need of licensed:
-Physical Therapists
-Occupational Therapists
-Physicians
-Physician's Assistants
-Engineers

If you have friends or colleagues who are interested, feel free to form a team!

Where Will I Stay in Haiti?

We have made accomodations for our teams at a beautiful guest house just one mile from our clinic. It is in the finished lower level of a private home in a gated community. There is a walk-out to a patio and outdoor eating area. It is $50 a day for room, bath (with hot shower), meals, and all transportation. It is very secure and all food and water is safe.

In addition, we have our own private driver and a team of translators at the clinic who work one on one with our volunteers.

What Will This Trip Cost Me?

How Do I Get to Haiti?

Flying to Haiti from the US is easiest via a large Florida airport such as Miami or Fort Lauderdale. If you send us some information on yourself and where you are from we are happy to help you book your air travel.

At GTG we believe that providing sustainable services is the most important part of what we do. Unlike other organizations, we do not offer a "package" deal for volunteering because we are running a non-profit not a business! As a volunteer, you will be able to book your own travel (we are happy to answer any questions or help in making the reservations). We do request that you stay at our guest house during your stay, to facilitate meals, transportation and most importantly, your safety.
